Collyer’s Ambassadors, nicknamed the “Dream Team”, supported The Weald School in Billingshurst at their highly rated “Futures Choices Fair”.
Sophie Bell, Archie Benson, and Luie Seward, who all previously attended the Weald School, expertly answered questions from year 8, 9, 10 and 11 pupils about options in post 16 education and transitioning from GCSE to Level 3 study.
Richard Rothwell, Director of Admissions, said: “The Weald’s Future Choices Fair was a tremendous event, with a huge number of exhibitors. We were given such a warm welcome and it was an absolute pleasure to support this wonderful school.”
Deputy Principal Steve Martell added: “Massive thanks to Sophie, Archie, and Luie for giving up so much of their spare time to help the next generation. They genuinely care and really are superb ambassadors and role-models.”
Student Ambassadors have been visiting schools and colleges across the region, to help pupils make informed choices about their futures and what Collyer’s can offer them in 2022 and 2023. The students, who joined the college from schools all over the south east, are studying subjects right across the broad range of levels and academic and vocational subjects offered at Collyer’s and each share a passion to help the next generation to understand the road into further education at the one of country’s leading sixth form colleges.
