Pre-Access Options

About the course
If you would like to complete an Access to HE Diploma but lack some of the entrance requirements for your chosen degree, we can offer a tailor-made Pre-Access Course.

Options available include:

• Biology GCSE
• English Functional Skills
• English GCSE
• ICT Digital Skills
• Maths Functional Skills
• Maths GCSE

You will study over the course over one to two academic years, attending college for between 1 and 3 nights a week, depending on the options chosen, and work towards the qualifications you need in English, Maths and Science to meet university entrance requirements.

Entry requirements
You should be aged 19+ and looking for an alternative route into University.

Assessment 
External exam

Progression
The Access to Higher Education Diploma for Nursing and Healthcare Professions or Health and Social Care Professions.
