News Students Set On Television Careers 15.08.2022

As part of the Collyer’s 2022 Media Progression programme, Collyer’s recently took 18 students to Maidstone TV Studios to learn more about the TV and Film Production course at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). The students were given a tour of the studios and the chance to explore the sound rooms, editing suite and the chance to get their hands on the professional kit used in industry.

Rebecca Moon, Head of BTEC Media, said: “The trip gave our talented students a great a fantastic opportunity to see and experience the real spaces they could be working and studying in at UCA, if they choose to progress into a degree in TV Production.

“The trip really created a buzz amongst the cohort and inspired them to make informed progression choices.”
