German Improvers

About the course

The course is a continuation of our Sprachkurs Plus A1/A2. It will provide you with an advanced knowledge of German in nine units (level B1 of the Common European Framework) and will prepare you for face to face situations in everyday life and at work.

The units you will be covering are:

• Neu in der Stadt / new in town
• Stärken und Schwächen / strengths and weaknesses
• Natur pur / Pure nature
• Finanzen / Finances
• Im Behördendschungel / In the jungle of the authorities
• Ein Jahrhundert / A century
• Höher, Schneller, weiter / Higher, faster, further
• Ein neuer Anfang / A new beginning
• Kunst und Kultur / Art and culture

Delivery

Learners will attend weekly lessons in college. This course may incorporate an element of live remote lessons where appropriate.   It is recommended that you have access to a PC, laptop or other suitable device.

Learners also benefit from access to the college library during our evening opening times, including computers, study stations, print-based and electronic learning materials, printers and scanners.

Course Suitability

This course is suitable for learners who have completed the German Beginners course and wish to progress further.

Fees

A £50 non-refundable deposit is payable at the point of booking and the remainder of the course fees are due one week before the course start.

Course fees are the same for all students – there are no concessions available. The course fee is due at the point of booking to secure a place on the course.
