About the course
The aim of this short 5-week recreational course is to develop basic communication skills in practical situations for learners who intend to use the language on holiday or for work. The emphasis will be on developing your conversational skills. You would be looking at different topics each week to expand your skills.
Delivery
Learners will attend weekly lessons in college. This course may incorporate an element of live remote lessons where appropriate. It is recommended that you have access to a PC, laptop or other suitable device.
Learners also benefit from access to the college library during our evening opening times, including computers, study stations, print-based and electronic learning materials, printers and scanners.
Course suitability
This course is suitable for learners who have already completed a French Beginners course or have a good level of knowledge of introductory French and wish to further develop their conversation skills. This is a highly collaborative class, where students can learn from others of differing levels whilst being supported by a native speaking tutor.
Progression
Join us next year, by moving on to one of our longer Improver or Conversation courses.

Fees
This is a short course with payment in full due at the point of booking to secure a place. Course fees are the same for all students – there are no concessions available.
