Hockey

We have women’s, men’s and mixed hockey teams, with fixtures taking place throughout the season on a Wednesday afternoon. The head of hockey John Burroughs is a Level 2 qualified EH coach having played national league hockey.  Both men’s and women’s teams consistently compete at regional and national level, and play fixtures against local schools and colleges throughout the year.

“Hockey at Collyer’s was a great experience, it really enhanced my studies, and allowed me to make lots of new friends. We played loads of matches and the coaching gave me the opportunity to enhance my skills. I had a wonderful two years playing hockey at Collyer’s reaching the national finals a number of times” (Lucy Wood, England Women, Commonwealth Games 2014)
