Paul Mittendorfer
Governor
I moved to Horsham from London in 1978 and have remained here for 46 years! I joined Forest Boys’ School in the ‘second year’ and then attended Collyer’s in 1982. After Collyer’s I had a short stint at United Rum Merchants based in Prewitt’s Mill before leaving to travel the world. I then stumbled into the Civil Service where I have worked in various educational agencies and quangos, in a variety of roles. I remain a civil servant and currently work for the Department for Education, working with Post-16 institutions (General FE and Sixth Form Colleges in Surrey). I like to think that I put my extensive experience and ‘inside knowledge’ to good use in my role as a Governor at Collyer’s.
