I have worked in reputation management for 30 years. During that time, I have advised management and boards of companies large and small on crafting their equity stories, governance structures, crisis management strategies and equity and debt capital markets activities. My contribution is primarily one of applying a commonsense approach to complex reputational issues, creating narratives that are authentic and resonate with the public and investors regardless of communication channel. I have worked in the same business for 30 years and over that period, it has grown from 31 to 1,300 people. My key management role is in preserving a culture of collaboration and entrepreneurship within what is now a larger corporate environment.
