Staff Governor

I have worked in state sector education for 18 years, the past 16 have been in the sixth form college context. As a teacher in Classical Civilisation and Latin, my timetable has often been complemented with a wide variety of subjects. This wide-ranging classroom experience has given me broad yet detailed understanding of the varied and ever-changing learning needs of a diverse range of students. I have also managed a range of curriculum departments, including Classical Civilisation, Latin, Functional Skills English and EPQ. My extensive professional experience thus far has been hugely rewarding, and I believe positions me well to be able to further contribute to the already very successful provision that young learners enjoy at Collyer’s.
