University Success
Our students progress on to a wide range of next steps including university, apprenticeships and work. 87% of students going to university in 2023 gained a place at their 1st choice institution.
For many students, sixth form is a ‘stepping stone’ for university. When considering where to study for your sixth form you should actively compare how well students achieve in their degrees at different schools and colleges. The best way to do this is to look at the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) data which shows classes of degree for every institution in the country. This is a very important measure of the quality of education received and how this readies students for higher level study. At Collyer’s the most recent statistics for students graduating university in 2022 once again show the incredible advantage a Collyer’s education brings:
- More Collyer’s students achieve 1st class degrees than any other sector – including independent schools
- More Collyer’s students achieve 1st and 2:1 class degrees than any other sector – including independent schools.
