About the course

The aim of this short recreational course is to build on existing communication skills in practical situations for learners who intend to use the language on holiday or for work. The emphasis will be on practising your conversational skills by exploring different topics each week, expanding your skills and gaining confidence with spoken Italian.

Delivery

Learners will attend weekly lessons in college. This course may incorporate an element of live remote lessons where appropriate.   It is recommended that you have access to a PC, laptop or other suitable device.

Learners also benefit from access to the college library during our evening opening times, including computers, study stations, print-based and electronic learning materials, printers and scanners.

Course suitability

This course is suitable for learners who have already completed an Italian Improvers course or have a good level of knowledge of introductory Italian and wish to further develop their conversation skills. This is a highly collaborative class, where students can learn from others of differing levels whilst being supported by a native speaking tutor.

Progression

Join us next year, by moving on to our Italian Advanced/Conversation course.

Fees

This is a short course with payment in full due at the point of booking to secure a place. Course fees are the same for all students – there are no concessions available.
