Vacancies Library & Curriculum Support Officer
Term Time Only
Fixed term January 27th – October 24th 2025
37 hours per week
We are looking for a new member of staff to join our Library team to assist in providing effective and responsive library services to students and staff and to provide curriculum support to specified subjects and act as liaison between the departments and the Library. This post is fixed term to cover maternity leave.
The hours of work would be:
Monday – Thursday 8.00-4.00 and Friday 08.30 – 3.30 with 30 minutes unpaid break each day
The successful candidate may be required on occasion to work a later shift for example 11.00am – 7.00pm (Feb half term – June) on one of their working days to maintain team cover.

Salary: Point 6 on the Support Staff Pay Scale. The annual salary for a FT post at this point is £23,162pa which is £19,420pa prorated for 37 hours pw term time only (0.8384fte 43.6 weeks paid per year) prorated for the fixed term period.
There will be a further Library & CSO vacancy in the team starting in March next year. This will be a permanent role and it will be 30 hours pw term time only, working pattern as follows: Monday, Thursday, Friday 8.30 – 4.30 and Tuesday 10.30 – 6 (September to Easter holiday) 11.30 – 7 (Easter holiday to summer holiday), Wednesday off.
