Vacancies Work Experience Co-ordinator

30 hours per week

Term time only (43.6 weeks paid per year)

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to coordinate work experience and industry placements as part of our busy Careers Team at Collyer’s.

The aim of the role is to coordinate the organisation of high-quality work experience and work placement opportunities for 16-19 learners. This will include assessment of the suitability of placements and consideration of health, safety and safeguarding, in line with college policy and procedures. The Work Experience Coordinator will support the Careers Adviser and Pastoral Directors in the development of our careers, employability and skills provision at Collyer’s.

We are happy to consider the hours being worked on 4 full days or spread over 5 days.

Salary: Point 8 to Point 10 on the Support Staff Pay Scale depending on skills and experience.  The annual salary for a FT post is £24,010pa to £25,276pa which is £16,322pa rising to £17,183pa prorated for 30 hours pw for 43.6 weeks (0.67984fte)
